• Constant headache
• Nocturnal (occurring at night)
• Worse on waking
• Worse on coughing, straining or bending forward
• Vomiting
• Papilloedema on fundoscopy
• Altered mental state
• Visual field defects
• Seizures (particularly partial seizures)
• Unilateral ptosis (drooping upper eyelid)
• Third and sixth nerve palsies
