Radiculopathies

Spinal roots are compressed or inflamed

  • Pain
  • Weakness
  • Numbness
  • Tingling

Commonly due to:

  • Disc herniation
  • Spinal stenosis
  • Degenerative changes in spine

Symptoms radiate from the spine to the limbs in a specific pattern corresponding to the affected nerve root 

Diagnose through exam, MRI/CT and EMG

Treatment may include pain management, physical therapy, epidural steroid injections, and in some cases, surgical intervention to relieve nerve compression.
