Indications	Diabetes type I (and 4th line for TII) Ketoacidosis Hyperglycaemic hyperosmotic non-ketotic coma Emergency treatment of hyperkalaemia
Contra-indications	Caution in renal impairment
Side-effects	Hypoglycaemia Weight gain Oedema
Interactions	B-blockers - mask warning signs of hypoglycaemia
