H. pylori eradication

Gram -ve aerobic bacteria

Diagnosis:

• Rapid urease test during endoscopy
• Stool antigen test for screening
• Urea breath test to check treatment worked

Triple therapy treatment for 7 days (2 antibiotics, 1 PPI):

• PPI (omeprazole)
• Amoxicillin
• Clarithromycin
