  • Campylobacter jejuni typically causes bloody stools and abdominal pain. 
  • Clostridium difficile infection typically follows a hospital stay or course of antibiotics and is associated with profuse diarrhoea. 
  • Enterotoxigenic E.coli infection typically occurs in travellers with diarrhoea associated with stomach cramps and nausea
