Cancer red flags

Lung

• Symptomatic of SVC obstruction, stridor
• Haemoptysis
• Persistent/recurrent chest infection
• Finger clubbing
• Supraclavicular/cervical lymphadenopathy
• Thrombocytosis
• Two of: cough, fatigue, SOB, chest pain, weight loss, ↓appetite, smoker, asbestos

Upper GI

• Dysphagia with weight loss and upper abdo pain/reflux/dyspepsia
• Jaundice or upper abdo mass
• Diarrhoea plus back pain, abdo pain, nausea, constipation, new-onset diabetes
• Haematemesis

Lower GI

• Faecal occult blood
• Abdo pain plus weight loss
• Rectal bleeding 
• Iron deficiency anaemia
• Change in bowel habit
• Rectal/abdo mass

Gynaecological

• Asites
• Pelvic mass
• Post-menopausal bleeding

Breast

• Unexplained breast lump
• Changes to one nipple
• Axillary lump

Urology

• Irregular prostate on PR
• Deranged PSA
• Macroscopic haematuria
• Non-painful enlargement or change in shape/texture of testicle 

CNS

• Sub-acute loss of central neurological function
• Weight loss, ↓appetite
• DVT
